Under pressure in Pocono

After successfully learning how to rebuild an 020 VW transmission, we headed off to Toronto Motorsport Park for an evening test'n tune. The gears and the fuel injection were all working great and with much anticipation we prepared for a double National race on the newly repaved road course at Pocono.

At Pocono we met up with a favourite competitor, Johannes Krause in his similar Scirocco. Over the course of two races we ran nose to tail almost every lap. It was intense racing with many passes for the lead taking place at the end of Pocono's two straights. When it was over, we split on the wins and had lap times within a few hundredths of a second of each other. It's the kind of racing that we live for.
